Wedding Fine Print
Event Organizer Approval
- All event companies must receive prior approval from The Luxe Nomad before accepting any deposit for the event.
- Guests are required to hire an approved event organizer if an event fee is applicable.
Guest Capacity
- Maximum capacity: 150 guests (seating/standing combined)
Event Fees
- USD 1,200 + 7% tax for events up to 80 guests.
- USD 1,500 + 7% tax for events up to 150 guests.
- Optional Fee: USD 600 + 7% tax for pre-/post-event casual gatherings (up to 50 guests).
Staffing and Event Logistics
- Events must be fully staffed by the event company, including setup, clean-up, full F&B team, and supervision by a planner.
- Use of villa interiors, including rooms for storage or the event, requires prior approval from The Luxe Nomad. Only outdoor spaces are permitted for events.
Restricted Areas and Bad Weather Contingency
- The deck area cannot be used for events, dining, or dancing.
- Event companies must provide appropriate covers, marquees, or tents in case of bad weather.
Setup, Clean-up, and Damage Prevention
- Wooden flooring or staging for dancing must be used on lawn areas to prevent damage.
- Staging or physical alterations to the villa, such as setups in the pool, require prior approval.
- The villa must be fully cleaned, and all rubbish removed on the same night of the event. No items should remain at the villa post-event.
Planner Responsibilities
- The planner must be onsite from event setup to the departure of the last guest and completion of clean-up.
Event Details and Timing
A detailed event plan must be submitted to the management company at least 4 weeks prior, including:
- Number of guests.
- Schedule (including finish time).
- Details of the ceremony, dinner, entertainment (e.g., DJ, live band).
All plans are subject to approval, and adjustments may be requested.
Music must be turned down by 12 midnight, and noise levels should be adjusted upon request to respect neighbouring villas.
Fireworks and Fire Performances
- Fireworks must only be provided by a licensed Thai company adhering to local regulations.
- Performances involving fire (e.g., fire dancers, lanterns) are allowed only under safe weather conditions and on the beach area. Any damages caused will be the client’s responsibility.
Villa Manager Support Fee
- A fee of THB 5,000 (payable by the event company) will be provided to the villa manager for onsite support. This is not considered a tip.
Damage Deposit
- Events exceeding 1.5 times villa occupancy: THB 150,000 refundable deposit.
- Events under 1.5 times villa occupancy: THB 50,000 refundable deposit.
- Refunds will be issued after the event, provided no damage or deep cleaning is required. The guest is responsible for any damages caused by themselves, their guests, or external contractors.
